Hi Cognition Enthusiast! What is it really about?
I never knew of this field during my school time, even during most of the graduation. For me, it took a lecture by Prof. Tapan Gandhi to learn about the field.
Wait, why was Pavlov’s hair so soft, though? Classical conditioning. (Okay, I agree that wasn't good)
Anyway, back to the answer. Even now, for many minds in the country, it is a field relatively unknown. And many joining new find the sub-fields pretty constrained according to the Institute at which they study.
Towards this, I had an idea one night (yes, one of those 2 AM ideas) to create a common platform for CogSci students in the country: ACSS, which would include and be built on by students of Cognitive Science from IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Gandhinagar, CBCS, and more. I proposed this idea sometime back, and I'm excited to share that, together, this plan has been set in motion.
So, are you in for a ride that could possibly stir up your consciousness? (I know I really need to work on my sense of humour)
