Does mentalizing shapes lead to empathy in humans?
7th Annual Conference of Cognitive Science (ACCS) 2021
Description
Work with Dr. Marlene Cohen (Centre for Neural Basis of Cognition, Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh) and
Dr. Laura Mikula (York University) and Minaxi Goel from IIIT Hyderabad. By analyzing the ToM (Theory of Mind) domain fMRI data from the
Human Connectome Project, we investigated if mentalizing simple interacting shapes could lead to empathy in humans.
